The Foliant Vega A Laminating Machine is a very compact industrial
laminating machines, designed for heavy-duty lamination of digital and
offset printing. It is equipped with an integrated deep pile vacuum
feeder, high-speed bump separator and adjustable twin de-curl bar and
overlap system. Due to its pneumatic high-pressure system (with
integrated compressor inside machine frame), format and performance, the
machine is suitable for all jobs all kinds of digitally printed
sheets and high volumes of offset printed sheets for lamination.
Fast
The
machines maximum speed is up to 59 feet/minute. Here are some production examples:
Vega 400 A - 2,100 sheets per hour of 14″ x 20″ portrait (white paper 200
gsm)
Vega 530 A - 1,550 sheets per hour of 19.7″ x 27.8″ portrait or over 3,000
sheets 14″ x 20″ landscape (blank paper 200 gsm).

The Jogger 400 is an adjustable vibrating reception unit for stacked laminated sheets.
Its capacity is limited to 3.9 of paper.
RECEPTION UNIT 400*
The Reception Unit 400 is a simple adjustable reception unit for stacking the laminated sheets. Its capacity is 3.9 of paper.
FOLIANT FOILER
Winding device that allows use of metalized film (gold, silver, red, etc.) and spot varnish film.
EXTRA FILM SUPPLY ROLL SHAFT
Additional Film Supply Roll Shaft for quicker film replacement.
PNEUMATIC SEPARATION
The
standard mechanical separation system is replaced with a pneumatically
powered system. The advantage is in better control of the whole
separation process. It is supplied with control valves for the delay of
separation and separation timing. This helps to separate thin sheets,
thicker film, nylon film and helps with some other difficult jobs where
fine tuning is necessary. Machines with this modification have to be
connected to external pressurized air supply (6-8 bars, 50 l/min). The
machine is supplied without a compressor.

Winding device that allows use of metalized film (gold, silver, red, etc.) and spot varnish film.
NON-STICKY PRESSURE ROLLER
Standard
rubber pressure roller is replaced by a roller with a non-sticky
surface. Melted glue from the film cannot stick to it, even under heavy
pressure. Cleaning of this roller is not necessary at all. It allows for
the lamination of sheets with windows.
EXTRA FILM SUPPLY ROLL SHAFT
Additional Film Supply Roll Shaft for quicker film replacement.
AIR SHAFT
Standard
film holder is replaced with an air shaft for quick, tool-less film
installation. This option is only available together with the pneumatic
separation option.
