The Horizon VAC-L600H Air-Suction Collator features an expanded paper
size capacity and improved feeding performance. With a suction rotor
feed system, the VAC-L600H can reliably and efficiently feed a wide
range of paper weights and textures with minimal effort. Combined with
the
StitchLiner Mark III Saddlestitcher or the SPF 200L Bookletmaker, the system is capable of producing A4 landscape booklets, large format calendars, and more with ease and efficiency.

air supply at each bin provides independent adjustment at each bin
regardless of paper stock and quality for stable and efficient feeding.
- Paper size capacity: Sheets
up to 24” in length can be loaded in each bin, and an optional extra
side blower can be equipped for stable feeding of large size or heavier
weight substrates.
- Paper flexibility: The
VAC-L600H features optional back-side, air sufficient sheet separation
for heavy large format sheets and stable sheet handling of light weight
and difficult paper stocks.
The VAC-L600H As A Sheet Feeder -
The built in D-VAC Function
turns the VAC-L600H from a standard format collator to a sheet feeder for pre-collated stacks of text from your digital press for bookletmaking.
Instead of loading each bin with stacks of the same sheets, you load pre-collated sets and tell the unit how many sheets make up a booklet. The VAC-L600H will then feed the proper quantity of text and even feed a cover if required. Multiple bins can be loaded with the covers or the text for near-continuous feeding.
This feature permits the feeding of booklets that have more text sheets than the number of bins in the system.
Note: The optional SA-40 Sub-Accumulator unit would be required for this feature to be utilized for bookletmaking with an SPF-200L system.
