HOW THE TrueScore-Pro Quad WORKSThe upper head has a selection of two color-coded male scoring discs for a large range of stock weight. The lower head has two female grooved rings, the groove widths are adjustable to suit the male disc being used. When the heads engage, the male scoring disc gently stretches the material into the female grooves, providing a deep, perfect crease and crack free fold every time.
The heads can be assembled to have a male scoring disc with a female groove ring on the same head, if required.
Spacer rings on each head assembly are used to change the dimension from the spine score to the hinge score.
EASY SETUP AND OPERATION• Assemble the female rings with width spacers and distance spacers as required
onto two hubs. Determine both lower scoring head locations for the job and lock onto lower cutter shaft.
• Assemble chosen male scoring discs with distance spacers as required onto two hubs. Position the upper heads on the upper cutter shaft so that the male scoring discs are centered over the female grooves. Fully lower the upper cutter shaft. Turn hand wheel a couple of times and lock onto upper cutter shaft.
• Run a sheet through and adjust upper cutter shaft as normal until the desired scoring depth is reached.
• To change male discs or female groove size spacers, remove three screws and slide components along shaft. Twist and remove male disc or female groove size spacers, replace and re-assemble while the heads are still on the shaft.
• The black male disc with the black female groove size spacer produces a smaller crease, perfect for heavy paper and light cover stock materials.
• The red male disc with the red female groove size spacer produces a wider crease for heavier card and cover stocks.
• The minimum spine-to-spine score is 1/4”. The minimum spine-to-hinge score is 1/4”. Using supplied spacer rings 3/8” and 1/2” spine-to-hinge score is obtainable.

HOW THE TrueScore-Pro Quad TS30 Cover System WORKS Each head holds one
female grooved collar and one male scoring disc. One pair of heads on
each scoring shaft set are positioned to match the spine width. When
the heads engage, the male scoring discs gently stretches the material
into the female grooves, creating four deep, perfect scores and crack
free covers every time.
There are two color-coded male scoring
discs and two female groove widths to choose from that combine to create
perfect scores on a wide range of stock. Spacers are used to adjust
the distance from spine to hinge. The heads can also be assembled with
two male scoring discs on the same side if desired. Featuring durable
and attractive stainless steel hubs and nuts. Scoring components are
constructed from durable nonmetallic materials for long life.
EASY SETUP AND OPERATION
•
Assemble the heads with the desired male scoring discs, female collars,
and spacers. Position and lock both lower scoring heads onto the lower
scoring shafts.
• Position the heads on the upper scoring shafts
with the male scoring discs centered over the female grooves. Lower and
lock the upper shafts. Rotate the shafts two full turns to align the
heads, then lock the upper heads to the shafts.
• Run a sheet through and adjust the upper scoring shafts until the desired scoring depth is reached.
•
No need to remove the heads to change the male scoring discs or the
hinge width. Simply loosen the nuts with the tools supplied and slide
along the shaft. Twist and remove the male discs and thin spacers, then
replace and re-assemble the heads.
• The red male disc in the wide
female groove produces a wider score for heavier cover stocks. Use the
red male in the narrow female groove for medium covers.
• The black male scoring disc in the narrow female groove produces a narrower score, perfect for light cover stock.
•
Red and black male scoring discs can be combined on the same set up,
typically red for the spine score and black for the hinge.
• The hinge width is adjustable from 4.0mm (0.157”) to 7.0mm(0.276”)score using the thin spacers provided.
